Week #5 post on Composition...

I really liked the article by KODAK...I understood the idea of composition but I didn't realize this..."You'll be aware that it is important to place figures or objects in certain positions. Figures should look into, not out of the picture. Fast-moving objects should have plenty of space in front of them to give the appearance of having somewhere to go. And remember that since bright tones or colours attract attention of the eye, the most important elements of the picture should be the lightest or brightest or most colourful." I've never really thought that the brightness and lightest parts of the picture was the most important. I always thought it was what you focused on was the most important...Now I realize that even that doesn't really matter sometimes with certain pictures, just by changing the angle or where the light touches can make it a great picture...

week #4 redo

This is a monochrome color scheme...

This is a complementary i think... but then again I think it is analogous depending how you look at it...because of the shades of purple getting lighter to white...
